And now, Milonga.
We think its time to squeeze some tango into your busy Sundays. Tango, when fully embraced (no pun intended), provides an opportunity to step out of your busy word, turn your back on your daily routine, and be in the moment.
In the words of one of our dear students; “In dancing tango, you’re in another world. There are rules. It’s different from your daily routine. You don’t have to talk, you just be. As a woman, at Milongas, in order to follow, you have to be in the present. You cannot be thinking about anything else, or you lose it. In this way, you lose the outside world. There’s no other time where I can be as fully present and focused – it’s meditative”.
We think this is a great way to prepare for a busy week. We think you deserve a full weekend, rounded off with a healthy dose of doing something that you love, surrounded by good friends and your faithful DGS family.
We present: Milonga Malena! Every Sunday from 3:30pm-6:00pm. Admission is just $10 or just come with a friend and $10 gets you admission for 2 — and free for DGS students and now our lovely Students can bring a friend for FREE!
